YOUR LESSONS

Your lessons

What should I expect at my first lesson?

+

Your first lesson starts with understanding your game, your goals and what is holding you back. Ari assesses your technique, explains the reasons behind your ball flight and identifies the most important areas to improve. You then work through the changes together, so you leave knowing exactly what to focus on. The goal is clarity and confidence, not a pile of swing thoughts.

Which lesson should I book first?

+

If you are serious about improving and want a full understanding of your game, start with the Golf Blueprint. If you have one specific issue or want a tune-up, a 60-minute Private Golf Lesson may suit you better. Not sure? Book a free 15-minute call and Ari will help you choose.

What makes Ari's approach different?

+

Lasting improvement does not come from collecting swing tips. Ari starts by helping you understand your swing, your ball-flight patterns and the causes of your inconsistencies. From there you develop your technique, improve how you practise and build the skills to perform on the course, combining technical coaching with Golf IQ.

I've had lessons before without much improvement. How is this different?

+

Often the problem is not effort, it is not understanding the cause or how to practise the solution. Instead of adding another swing thought, Ari assesses your patterns and what you have already tried, then builds a clear approach that makes sense to you. Ari guarantees you'll make progress within the session.

Can lessons really help me become more consistent?

+

Consistency is one of the most common reasons golfers seek coaching. Many golfers hit great shots but cannot repeat them because they do not understand the patterns behind their good and bad shots. Ari's coaching identifies those patterns and builds the skills to manage them, so your good golf becomes more repeatable and your bad shots more manageable.

How many lessons will I need before I see improvement?

+

It depends on your game, your goals and how much you can practise. Some golfers improve their understanding and ball striking in the first lesson; turning changes into reliable habits and lower scores takes longer. After assessing your game, Ari recommends a realistic plan and coaching frequency.

Will I know what to work on after my lesson?

+

Yes. Every private lesson leaves you with clear practice priorities and how to work on them. The Golf Blueprint takes this further with a personalised one-month practice plan and implementation support.

How much should I practise between lessons?

+

Quality and purpose matter more than hitting lots of balls. You can even improve at home, without a club, using simple setup and movement drills. Ari shows you what to practise, how to practise it and how to tell if you are progressing.

Will changing my swing make me worse before I get better?

+

Not necessarily, but a new movement can feel unfamiliar while you adapt. That is why Ari makes sure you understand what you are changing, why and how to practise it, and avoids changing parts of your game that already work. Ask about online lessons to stay on track between sessions.

Can a lesson focus on one part of my game?

+

Yes. Private lessons can focus on driving, irons, wedges, chipping, pitching, bunkers, putting or course management. If you are unsure where you are losing shots, Ari helps you find the priorities. Short Game and Golf IQ classes are also available.

Do you use TrackMan, video and 3D analysis?

+

Yes, where it helps. TrackMan shows club delivery and ball flight, while video and 3D analysis show how your body and club are moving. The Golf Blueprint includes a full assessment with these tools. The technology is there to find what matters and explain it clearly, not to overwhelm you with numbers.

PROGRAMS AND CLASSES

Programs and classes

What's included in the Golf Blueprint?

Do you offer on-course lessons?

Do you offer group classes?

BEGINNERS, LADIES AND JUNIORS

Beginners, ladies and juniors

Are lessons suitable for complete beginners?

+

Absolutely. You do not need a handicap, experience or a perfect swing. Ari introduces the fundamentals at your pace, from holding a club and making contact to basic etiquette and feeling comfortable on the course.

Do you offer beginner lessons for women?

+

Yes. Ari runs a Ladies Beginner Program and private coaching for women who are new to golf or want to build confidence, in a welcoming, supportive environment with no expectation that you already know the rules or etiquette.

Do you offer lessons for juniors?

+

Yes. Junior lessons and clinics are available for suitable age groups, adapted to each child's age, experience and goals. Parents are welcome to watch, and a short debrief at the end helps you support their progress. Contact Ari about age suitability, supervision and availability. [JUNIOR PRICE TBC]

Can I book a lesson with a friend, partner or family member?

+

Yes, shared private sessions are available by arrangement, and group classes are another option. Contact Ari with the number of people and what you would like to achieve.

Can lessons be adapted for injuries or different learning needs?

+

Yes. Every lesson is tailored to the individual. If you have an injury, mobility restriction or particular learning need, let Ari know before your lesson so suitable adjustments can be discussed.

PRACTICAL INFO

Practical info

Where do you offer lessons?

+

Ari's main coaching location is Pelican Waters Golf Club on the Sunshine Coast. Coaching is also available in Kingaroy during monthly visits and in Mount Isa at selected times of year. Choose your location when booking to see available dates. [MEETING POINTS FOR EACH LOCATION TBC]

What should I wear and bring?

+

Comfortable golf clothing you can move in: a collared shirt, shorts or trousers, and golf shoes or enclosed, stable shoes. Bring your clubs if you have them, plus water and sun protection. It also helps to think about what you would most like to improve.

Do I need my own clubs?

+

If you have clubs, bring them so you work with the equipment you play with. If you are new and do not have clubs, loan clubs are available with advance notice. There is no need to buy expensive equipment first.

What if it rains?

+

Pelican Waters has an indoor coaching bay for private lessons. If severe weather or lightning makes a session unsafe, Ari will arrange another time, a refund or a fee-free cancellation, and will let you know by SMS.

Should I buy new clubs or get fitted before lessons?

+

Not necessarily. It is usually better to understand your technique first. Bring the clubs you have and Ari will help you decide whether a fitting or adjustment would be worthwhile.
